Girls day

Monday.

My first day in what seemed like forever of just Tenley and I. Shea left for work so I had this super fun girl day planned for Tenley and I. Here's how it went:

 

Shea left for work at 6:30 (maybe it was 6, but Tenley and I ended up waking up and getting out of bed at 6:30) so Tenley and I ate some breakfast and watched our regular morning Sprout tv. After we were both fully awake...it takes us a while.... we started getting ready to go have some fun and get out of the house.

I thought it would be a great idea to take Tenley to the kids play area in the mall to go get her energy out and play while it was still early and not crowded with bigger kids. Tenley LOVED it and spent a good 30 minutes climbing all over the animals and running around.

 

Around 11 I THOUGHT *emphasis on thought* it would be a good idea to get some Chic-fil-a. I don't know if she was overly exhausted or what but suddenly Tenley was the biggest grump ever. Like "threw her nuggets on the ground" type of mood. Needless to say, we did not get any pictures at Chic-fil-a and im sure if I did it would have just been of a whiney, fussy, 1 year old. Im 99% sure it was around this time I was texting Shea telling him im ready for him to come home.

Since we were on that side of town, Tenley and I went to my moms house so she can relax and have a snack over there. Since CLEARLY lunch didn't happen. She ended up taking a good nap before we left for a minute to go run some errands!

 

These past couple of days Ive been selling some of Tenley's old bows on Instagram (@shoptenley)  that she doesn't wear anymore so we had to go to the post office real quick to ship them off before going back to my moms have dinner with them! We ended up going to Blue Sky which was actually really good!

After dinner it was time to come home and get ready for bed. After about an hour of playing this little girl was EXHAUSTED. She ended up crashing on the couch while I was on the computer working and slept through the whole night. I moved her into her bed of course.

And that was our Monday shenanigans. Im hoping the rest of this week goes by a little bit smoother especially since we are going to visit my dad this weekend!
