TODDLER LIFE || PART 22

We are now approaching the end of Tenley's second year and im still in shock and wishing time would

S L O W down.

Its crazy! I feel like just the other day I was at the Drs office finding out you were going to come into the world that day! Now here I am planning your second birthday party!

Honestly I love everything about this age! If i could freeze time and keep her this little I most definitely would! I could do without the attitude... I cant complain too much though, she definitely got that attitude from her momma! But seriously, your actions, words, all of it! You surprise me everyday with the new things you learn!

Where do I even begin?! You have become quite the little momma these days! You always manage to pick out a baby, a receiving blanket, and take care of it for the rest of the day! Carrying it everywhere, giving kisses, putting it in your little brother's swing, even giving it a bottle! You have this baby thing down! My favorite is when we ask if your ready for your baby brother to get here: YEP!

You are going to be the most perfect big sister!

You also have a new found love for books!

reading them, having them read to you! It doesn't matter as long as you get to point and see the pictures!

You make me sooo happy little girl!

You give the best hugs and kisses and I love how kisses fix everything now! You get 'ouchies' and 'booboos' every 20 minutes now just so mommy and daddy can kiss it! Then you are on your way to do whatever you gotta do!

NO is your new favorite word.

Me: Tenley are you ready for bed? NO

Me: Tenley can you pick up your mess? NO

Me: Tenley can you come here? NO

Its so hard to keep a straight face and get on to you when you say it with the cutest little sassy tone.

You love movies: Tangled, Frozen and Despicable Me are probably your favorite and can keep you occupied for hours.

Puppy dogs are your favorite (Sorry girlfriend, you aren't getting one anytime soon)

And singing and dancing is probably your favorite thing to do. *And my favorite thing to watch*

Still in size 3 diapers and HOPEFULLY we will start potty training this month. We already bought some panties and you LOVE wearing them.

Ive said it before and ill say it again. I LOVE this age oh so much. Can I just keep her this young forever? Okay, maybe after shes potty trained. THEEEEN we can freeze time.
