BRAXTON || 1 MONTH

This month has flown by!

 It seriously seems like yesterday you were born and I was counting down the days till I can bring you home and cuddle with you all day. And here we are.... O N E month old and you probably receive about 94329 kisses a day between your sister and I. Actuallyyy 1 month was on the 19th and im totally slacking.

 It seems like its been a million years since ive blogged and I don't regret it one bit. So much life has been happening and ive been soaking up every minute of it.

The kisses.

The cries.

The feedings.

The cuddles.

The late nights.

The early mornings.

I can honestly say I've enjoyed every second of it.

BRAXTON

birth weight: 5lbs 12oz

weight now: 6lbs 6oz

birth height: 19.5inches
height now: 20 inches

EAT

This boy can eat like nobodys business. He got down to 5lbs 5oz while in NICU and has brought it up to 6lbs . He is exclusively breastfed and eats about 3oz every 3 hours. This boy can eat! Im so thankful for the schedule that the NICU put him on because its made my life so much easier. Just about 3 hours on the dot he starts getting fussy and ready to eat. Yall, schedules are the best thing that's ever happen. Speaking of schedules...

SLEEP
Sleep is amazing for Braxton. I don't even set an alarm clock to wake him up at night because he will do it for me. every three hours. During the day he is SO alert and I could just talk and stare at him for hours! He will stay up for an hour-hour and a half then sleep till its time for him to eat! You would think after a month of me waking up 2-3 times a night I would be used to it by now but nope! 3 am feedings are the WORST. Its a battle to try and stay up and I normally stick to watching Law and Order SVU in the living room and scrolling through facebook/instagram to keep me awake!

BRAXTON
Never in a million years did I think I could be so in love with a little boy! Braxton if I could just cuddle and talk to you all day I would. Don't even get me started on your big sister. While she was unsure of you at first, she is oh so in love with her "bubby" now. Between your sister and I, you are given enough kisses in a day to last you a lifetime. Seeing yall together makes me the happiest mommy in the world.
The first few weeks you were home you were the EASIEST baby in the world. Only crying when you were hungry and wanting to be swaddled. While you are still an easy going baby, you have definitely found your voice. You LOVE being held and definitely let me know when you are ready for some cuddles. but don't worry, I don't mind it one bit.
I have never seen a baby look so much like their sibling in my life. Seeing Tenleys baby pictures beside yours, I cant even tell whos is whos! Does this mean you are gonna look like your momma like your sister does? Who knows. I wouldn't mind having two little ones of me running around the house.
 All im hoping for is that you have your daddy's athleticism. Your grandpa (my dad) and your daddy could talk about day about your sports future and what positions youll be playing. Your dad is determined you will be a quarterback like him while your grandpa is determined youll be playing baseball. Either way, ill just be happy if you can catch a ball.
You are still in premie clothes and newborn diapers but you should be fitting in newborn clothes annny day now. I can not wait to see what the next 4 weeks will bring and how you will grow. You make your daddy, sister and I oh so happy Braxton Bain!
