This has probably been the most chaotic weekend ive had in a while. Not because we had tons we had to do but because we are adjusting to our family of
F O U R
Life now consists of sleepless nights, early mornings, dancing in the living room with a crazy toddler, and giving the newest little member of our family all the kisses + cuddles.
Friday started off with Braxton's first Drs appt. I spent the morning with him while Shea stayed at home with Tenley and she slept. Braxton hated every second of that appointment. Not because he is a fussy child but because it was scheduled the same time he eats. REAAAALLL fun yall. We saw Dr. Strong because our pediatrician, Dr. Wiley, was out of town. Come to find out my 2 week old boy is now 6lbs 2oz. (He left the hospital a week ago at 5lbs 7oz) and is still 19.5 inches. Its crazy to think that normally this would be my 36 week post but instead hes two weeks old!
Afterward, I grabbed some food for the family and stayed at home and hung out with my sweet babes for the rest of the day. Seriously i think i could just hang out at home all day and cuddle with this one and be perfectly fine.
Saturday afternoon consisted of spending 20 years in Kids Village with my momma. (Okay totally over exaggerating but its never in and out of that store when my moms around. we have to spend at least an hour in there.) Tenley and Braxton got to see Santa and Tenley was BEYOND excited about meeting him. and of course the moment she sits in his lap she freezes up. That's Tenley for ya!
Sunday was my first day to ever be out with Braxton and it was interesting for sure. The day started off getting this picture of Braxton and I must say, could it be any more perfect?? I think not.
I got Tenley and Braxton ready and headed out to my mommas house for the day. After hanging out there for a little bit we headed out to the mall so my mom could use her Bath and Body Works coupons and I could get my eyebrows done. because when you don't get your eyebrows done for a month, helllloooo unibrow. not cute. It was also the first time to be pushing around my double stroller. I have a love/hate relationship with that thing. Afterwards, we got some food and chatted for a little bit before I went home but I couldn't leave without a basic bathroom selfie because its a very rare thing to be dressed cute nowadays and clearly it needed to be documented.
