Our Honest bedtime routine

FINALLY getting around  to this post.
life has been a whirlwind lately....typical. and blogging has been the last thing on my mind.
So...
a few months ago a fellow momma asked me how I got Braxton to sleep through the night so quickly! (I forced myself to wake him up every 3 hours until he was 2.5 months then got him to sleep from 9:30pm-7am.)
ROUTINE IS KEY
I try to find a product i like and stick to it. I started using the Honest Company with Braxton because he has sensitive skin and im also a sucker for anything organic. I pretty much have a mini stock pile in my house of Honest bathtime products...99% are lavender scented because yummm.

I started bathing Braxton everynight/every other night in Honest lavender Bubble bath and Honest lavender shampoo&conditioner. If he doesn't get a bath that day I atleast wash his hair under the sink because he has cradle cap. I use the lavender brand on him because not only does it smell AMAZING but lavender is known for being a calming scent which makes this little man sleepy!

After bathtime we rub on some baby powder, lotion, and diaper rash cream (we use Destin not Honest co.) and get in some comfy pjs.

I lay him down in his room with his toys and work with Tenley and her bath! Same stuff as Braxton but extra bubbles and allllll the toys.
We also use Honest Conditioning spray on her locks when she gets out!
Occasionally I use some in my hair because it smells amazing!
We all get into my bed at 9ish and let Tenley drink some milk and ill give Braxton some formula then breastfeed him until he falls asleep and off to his bassinet we go!
The first two nights were a little rough trying to get him into a routine and sleep through the night but after he got used to the nighttime routine and realized i was just going to put him back to sleep and he would wait till the morning for milk he was PERFECT! This week we will attempt to start baby food and sleeping in his own room. (ive tried about 5 times and end up bringing him back into my room) So wish us luck!
